These two classes are notoriously the hardest in the biology department and I was taking 18+ hours while taking them. This is my junior year and the only two classes I have made below a B+ in. Should I give up on MD? I am applying this cycle.

Just be ready to explain those grades in your interviews, just in case they are asked about. And your explanation should NOT be that they are notoriously hard classes -- but how it was a personal lapse/failure and the things you've done/are going to do to correct it.
