My DAT is on September 2nd. After taking a topscore test, I realized that i am not ready at all. Did okay on everything else(17s on bio and chem) , but i figured i could just spend a day going over ochem and be ready. I should have known. It is clearly my worst subject (i got B and C in ochem 1 and 2). Everytime i try to study it i damn near have a panic attack. So, instead of concentrating on it, i study for the other parts of the test that are easier to study for. Over the course of a few months, twice before or during my ochem studying i have just quit, not just on ochem but i dentistry. Anyway, i am senior this year and have not applied to dental school. I figure ill apply for fall 2007. First of all how should i study for ochem? What book? I have kaplan materials and Barrons. Should I make flash cards of all the rxns? Should i get schaum's? Next, if i take the test in December, or January, how should i go over all the material that I already have gone over? How do i keep it fresh?
Thanks for any help
