Now the PCAT won't be in October anymore, which was when I planned to take my PCAT .... it's now in September and by then i would only have a month of O Chem 1 and Calc 1 done......🙁 (Yes, I haven't done these two classes because last year, when i was a freshman i was nursing major so didnt need these two classes)...
I was planning to do all the other prereqs that i need prior to applying to pharm. school in the upcoming year but i guess i have to wait until next year to take te PCAT............so.....do you guys think i should just do an extra year of prereqs instead of squeezing them all together next year..?
because i wont be able to ace the PCAT anyways......and the jan 2012 pcat will be too late to send in to the college of pharmacy.....now my 2-year pre-pharm will turn into a 3-year pre-pharm 🙁🙁🙁🙁🙁 suggestions?

Your January scores will not be too late for admittance for 2012. Many schools complete their interview cycles in April. You would have your scores in up to 6 weeks after you take the exam. It seems like this past January's test takers received their scores more rapidly than what I did. But then, a watched pot takes forever to reach a boil. Since I was not waiting on scores, it didn't matter to me when they received them.

Are they dropping the August test date? , or is it due to your testing location?

Take it September for practice purposes. Work on what you are weak on, nail it January. PCAT is not everything, it is another indicator.

If your PharmCAS application is not complete, you definately will not get accepted for schools that require it.

If you will not have all the pre-reqs completed prior to the completion of Spring 2012... you would not be a qualified candidate. If you are ready now, then work towards that goal. If you cannot get ready until Spring 2013, then you would start your application process next summer.
