i tried to find some old posts about this subject but surprizingly couldnt find too many.
anyways i just got done taking a computerized mcat exam for the first time (i'm taking the april mcat). i figured there would be several different things you could do on the new computerized mcat but the only thing you can really do is highlight and cross off answer choices. this makes me mad because the technique i use (which works great for me) is one where i write in a lot: i circle names/dates/transitions, i do things like put a plus sign where there is agreement with the author and a negative sign where there is disagreement, i would use a money symbol if there talking about money, i put margin annotations at the end of each paragraph in a few words that summarizes that paragraph, etc etc.

now i cant do any of that. i think they should also give you a paper copy of the verbal section as well so you can do that if you please. are they considering doing this or do any sites actually do this? this may not sound like a big deal but VR is my hardest section by far.

did anyone else do something similar as me and what are you doing now, the EK method? (which does not work well for me)

Seems like writing on the paper would be helpful. Maybe you can use ctrl+F to find stuff though, which would IMO make up for it. Passages always ask, "what did the author mean by X". So searching for X you can save time scanning the document. Not sure if this is allowed though...

Unfortunately, there is no ctrl+f on the MCAT. If you want to find it...dive right in
