I never liked physics and chemistry. In fact, I never got higher than a B in any physics or chemistry class. I just don't find these classes interesting and I can never motivate myself to study or do practice problems without looking up the answers on chegg or something. Because of that I tended to do bad on these exams. My C/P section on the mcat was my worst score (124)

I will say that some of my favorite classes in college were anatomy, physiology, microbial genomics, biochemistry, molecular bio, etc. I feel like these classes are a little more applicable to medical school. S***, I even liked organic chemistry better than general chemistry (I know you're cringing premeds).

With that being said, do you think physical sciences are even necessary or an accurate prediction on how one will perform in medical school?

No, but I'd suggest you stay away from radiation oncology

You'll have to learn some biochem in med school and know it for step 1, but other than that it won't matter at all. You will probably find that you dislike a lot of the things you learn in med school, but you'll just learn to get through it and learn it anyways. Physics and chemistry aren't especially important though.
