I hate USC... how they wait to the last possible moment and then reject you. Maybe i am just bitter but i hate them. I have never liked that school and now i have more reason not too! I HATE THE TROJANS... BRUINS FOR LIFE!!!

Sorry about the bad news. USC waits until this time of the year to start to reject applicants.

So uh..War Midwestern for you right?

Don't take this the wrong way but I think this post is funny  I'll probably get my rejection soon. Vent it all out!!!

I hope you're feeling slightly better once you made this thread to release your anger and disappointment.

Yes, I remember I received a rejection letter last year right after I received something in the mail regarding financial aid. They also encouraged me send in an updated transcript with Interpersonal Communication class that finished in the Winter Intersession in the middle of February.

I just hate USC cause they suck!! 2006 Rose Bowl!

Hook Em :horns:

i can't believe i went out of my way last week to waste my 3 bucks to fax my financial supplemental, just to get a rejection 1 week later. All this Trojan family talk is BS.
...man it feels good to get all of that out....

Most people don't realize that the admissions department is not related to the financial aid department. The financial aid department's goal is to gather your information in case you are accepted and decide to attend USC but it has no clue about your admissions status.

I didn't even apply there but you folks have convinced me that USC is nothing but a sweltering cess pool of maggot infested incompetence and bastardry of the highest order. They are infidel philistines, may their seed be wiped from the earth.

I completely agree. They could have easily sent out pre-interview rejections just like UCSF and UCSD did instead of dragging it out this long when they didn't want us. Lame. 🙄

I hate them too but Glendale is nice. You can walk around the neighborhood and not worry about getting mugged. Ask an SC student if they can do that at their school.

At least get your facts right. The health science campus is located about 20 mins from the main campus. Yes, the campus is boring and there is nothing there except the hospital but the health science campus is very safe. Just look up the crime rate at the health science campus.

oh btw, thanks for the application fee! There is always next year.

I just got my rejection letter from USC.... I thought it was the most polite, and thoughtfully written rejection letter ever. 🙄 ::shrugg::

You never liked that school, yet you applied for admission? Funny how you liked them enough to send them your PharmCAS application + the $85 supplemental fee + write those essays on the supplemental application.

Here is the typical attitude on any school that I've noticed on this forum.
pre-rejection/waitlist: "I'm so nervous! I loved everything about this school and would love to attend this school. Anyone hear from them?"
post-rejection/waitlist: "OMG, this school sucks! I hate them and I never liked this school in the first place. I'm so glad that I didn't get in!"

I know you're just ranting but I thought I'd point out the irony anyway.

My mistake. What are the cross streets for that?

I feel the same way about Downers Grove too! One of the safest schools that I've had interviews at.

I hate that horse. I will always hate that horse. I figure that I will outlive that horse but then they just replace it with another horse. That's just not right.

I got denied recently too. But I win in the end because my team is the only one that can seem to beat their football team recently. Go Beavs!

i never read rejection letters past the first paragraph (and that is usually a skim). i also hate how they wait until the very last possible second to reject applicants, and I think they should change that about their admissions process. But going as far as hating USC isn't really fair.

BTW kirbypuff... i like ur picture. Work that pose!

I don't get the big deal. All schools do this (medical pharmacy dental graduate). Usually, you won't know if you are rejected until interviews are over and you weren't scheduled. If you interview, then you find out when everyone else finds out. USC is pretty on top of it. The send out the 3 possibilities after 4 weeks. If they only do AC and accepted, then you should've assumed rejection. I'm all for venting, don't get me wrong. Vent logically. You can hate Trojans all you want, a lot of your fellow Bruins will be there next year, sadly.

Oh, they are just venting. They don't really hate SC. If they did, they never would have applied in the first place. I really do hate that horse though.

mmm maggots

Hey Jaded03. Hope you don't mind but which school are you planning to go to since you got into 3 schools?

Honestly, I'm not too sure. Before visiting each school, I thought I had it figured out, but now that I've been everywhere, I have some soul-searching to do.

lol. I think this thread is so funny, and so true...ha

yea definitely after visiting each campus my perspective for why i want to go there almost completely changes. i guess when you see what you are going to live with for the next 4 (or 3) yrs, thats going to contribute a ton in the decisions.

ps booo usc. got my reject letter yesterday.

I bet the poor horsie (his name is Traveler) loves you, diastole.

Anyway... You people bashing USC should probably get over it already and move on. I didn't get an interview this year and I dont like waiting either; however, my opinion of the school hasn't changed: USC is still a solid and well established program. Acceptances and denials are both part of the process... you should had been prepared for either scenarios.

I'm tired of watching my alma mater get whooped by them in football... and their fight song is so darn cool!

Down with USC... go ASU!!!

Dude, you have a gift...that is the best bashing I've seen thus far.

Smack dab in this area of LA still is not going to be safe. Maybe just relatively less ghetto. I think this thread is hilarious! I've wanted something like this to get started awhile ago, but didn't have the guts to do it on my own b/c of all the hardcore SC-lovers out there. My bitterness for SC is getting stronger each day I wait to get off that stupid AC list.

Don't you all just love how SC gear and paraphernalia is everywhere to laugh at you in the face and remind you of your rejection?! 😡

I agree. It was thoughtfully written~ If I don't get anywhere this year, I will def reapply here---

I think it is unfortunate that they make applicants wait until the very end to find out their status. They should just deny and accept people on a regular bases, that way people can concetrate their effort some where else. Just my opinion
