Hey guys....Im confused about sending a letter to reserve my spot at a school I have been accepted to. THey do NOT require a deposit, but require a letter sent to them in writing to reserve my place for now.

Question is, what do I say. This is what I came up with:

To Whom It May Concern:

Thank you very much for accepting me into the ------------------------- Class of 2009. I enthusiastically accept the position offered to me on November --, 2004 and would like it reserved. Please let me know if I need to do anything else required for holding my spot for the Class of 2009. I am thrilled at this opportunity and look forward to entering next Fall.

Thank you again,

Is this ok? I said Im thrilled to enter next fall, but I might no go there, should I take that line out?

Congratulations on your acceptance!

Your letter is fine, but I'd definately take out the thrilled statement and scrap the "Thank you again,". Sincerely, will do just fine.

Because you've already been accepted it doesn't really matter all that much what you say to them unless it has cursing involved 😉 Seriously though, congrats and the letter looks great!

Done deal, thanks for the quick replies.

Just be brief and respectful, like this:

To the Dean with the Googly Eye,

Thanks for the acceptance, losers 👎 . I really don't want to go to your crap-tastic school, but I'm going to go ahead and reserve a spot anyway in the very unlikely case that I don't get in ANYWHERE else and also because the admissions secretary was hot and I hooked up with my student host.

Love,

PS: I call dibs on the hot cadaver.

I don't think you need to write a super-enthusiastic or overly grateful letter. You're in already!

Sounds fine...mine was basically the same...for U Miami? You definately going or still gonna see how things pan out with other schools? I'm almost certain I'm going to go UM.
