I have done volunteering under two different programs for the same hospital. I'm curious on how to report this on the AMCAS Work and Activities section. I've looked and seen that you can report an "Organization". However, does that mean I can report both programs under it.

For example 300 of my volunteering hours come from the standard Brightside's volunteering program and another 100 come from Brightside's Light for Hope program. Can I put under Organization "Brightside's Light for Hope and Volunteering program" or should I just put "Brightside Health systems" in the organization and then mention the two different programs in my description.

I don't want to separate the two programs because they both were for volunteering and I want to compile them but I'll split them if necessary. I want to mention the programs because one of them has significant ties with my dream medical school so that's why I want to mention it.

Since you don't want to split them up, it's perfectly fine to use Brightside Health Systems as the Organization on your AMCAS application. If you don't have one Contact who can validate all the volunteer hours, mention the second one in the body of the description you provide.

Gotcha thanks. If I don't have enough space to add the email, what do I do? The Student Volunteering program is very close to the Light for Hope program so do I just hope that they'll refer AMCAS to the other program? It was through the student volunteering program that I learned about the Light for Hope program

Why not email the Contact and ask if anyone getting such an email would refer them to the correct office for validation purposes (to be sure that would happen). Alternatively, you have the option of providing a phone number instead (which takes fewer characters).

I think I'll go with option number 1 just in case. The phone number and email are same number of characters. I'll see if I can shorten my deiscription in the future

You can also tag it as a most meaningful experience and add further clarity. Either way, don't worry. ADCOMS seem to be very receptive to the fact that different applicants prefer organizing the activities section in different ways.
