i'm in some trouble here as my procrastination has gotten the best of me...

please have some pity on me and tell me what you think the best way to prepare is. i have BRS and First Aid and a text.

suggestions?

thx.

One day is not much time to study for the physiology shelf. I felt like I had been hit by a bus after taking that exam! BRS is decent, except for neurophys. Qbank is somewhat helpful, too. I studied really hard and it took me the entire 3 hours and I left hoping to pass. Good luck. Maybe you will have a better experience than I did (or than the rest of my class did!)

One more thing, I think FA is good to review for graphs and enzymes and stuff like that, but the actual test has way more detail than the material in FA.

are you able to tell me which subject matter was hit the most? endo, cardiac, resp, etc?

PRE-TEST the book. 500 questions of phys divided by section. do cardio and vascular in the day you have.

I did the Pre-Test questions after I had done the corresponding BRS reading and questions and thought the Pre-Test questions were difficult. That being said, so is the test, so it may help. However, if you don't know the basics, Pre-Test is really hard. I thought my test had a lot of renal and GI on it. There was a decent amount of cardio too. A lot of it ties together--for example: hypertension as it relates to the kidney, heart, vasculature, aldosterone, ADH, blah, blah, blah. I think FA is good for some of the graphs, gut enzymes, hormones and EKGs and Qbank had some good renal questions with calculations. There are only 100 or so physiology questions on Qbank, so it wouldn't hurt to go through those if you have time.

Hope this helps.

lemme put it bluntly. you're f**ked.

if you at least paid attention to physio during the semester, you should at least pass.
