Hey guys

I just did the DAT (canadian) and I am scared... I had a perfect soap until the last retouche. I was just adjusting a few things when my soap kinda chipped off (I tried simulating the f'ed up part at home, look at pic pls).

Do you think they'll make me fail for this mistake?? thanks!

I don't think that would fail you, it might deduct from your score though. The only way the soap is an automatic fail is if you break it (not chip it). I'm in the same boat though, well not really but I an beating myself up for not changing one of my answers on the science section to a different one and when I got home to look up the answer I realized I should of changed it. When a difference of +/-1 can be the difference between something like a 23 and a 24 or a 25 and a 26 it really sucks!

Mannn I really hope so! It wud be a shame to fail at 4 on 30 because of such a mistake man!

And in our french canadian unis, they dont check the science section. I legitly put A as an answer to all 70 questions without even reading the questions lmao. I hope for u to pass bro!

you won't fail if you did all 3 parts correctly (like a flute where there's supposed to be flute, a saddle where there's supposed to be a saddle) so you are fine 🙂. Basically you can only fail if you carve the wrong shape.

And my uni doesn't check the science section either but I still did it properly anyways because it would have given me more breathing room if I wanted to apply to another uni.
