Should I be concerned about my chances if I keep getting multiple emails from masters programs. im currently applying now, and these emails make me feel so bad. I've been getting a lot of them from Uchicago, Northwestern, Casewestern, Uflorida all within a week. The programs are supposed to help make me a more attractive applicant. I know my MCAT is pretty bad (505) but I thought I still had a decent shot (54%) according to AMCAS. This emails are stressing me out. Do most applicants get this emails or am I over-reacting?

A 505 is weak but not lethal.

You're getting spam, not indications that med schools are saying you're 100% reject material.

Did you apply to those MD schools? Is so, those were donations....they don't need the money.

Here are the schools where I see you being competitive for (or in striking distance).
Wake
GWU
Gtown
MCW (maybe)
Rush (maybe)
Creighton
Loma Linda (only if you are SDA or a very devout Christian)
Loyola
MCW
Oakland U Beaumont
Rosy Franklin
SLU
U VM
Uniformed Services University/Hebert (just be aware of the military service commitment)
VCU
WVU
Your state school(s).
Any DO school. I can't recommend Touro-NY, Nova, Wm Carey, LUCOM, for different reasons. MSUCOM? Read up on Larry Nasser and you decide.

Schools that have these kinds of programs purchase email addresses within certain score ranges from AMCAS. I work for an organization that does this with the GRE, ACT, SAT and MCAT. It says nothing about your ability to get into medical school.

I didn't apply to any of those schools. I applied to SLU, MCW, Penn state, Jefferson, Howard, and two other reach schools ( I was close to the 10th percentile.)

so amcas sell our info to people? great.

I dont remember getting any early on... but i got plenty of emails from schools about their masters programs AFTER they rejected me

Anything to make a buck. Shameful.

Isn’t capitalism just the best

They send these emails to people at all score ranges, it has nothing to do with your application specifically. One of my biggest regrets in life is checking that box on the MCAT allowing them to share my contact information.

@Isabel96 Did you get one this week from Northwestern MSL? Just asking, because if we are getting the same emails then there is a shared source that is giving away emails.

My dude, I was getting ITT mailers during my application season so consider your situation an upgrade ;-)

The program I mentioned is some bizarro biology-law school masters program that gives you neither degree. I also get spammed from Florida U for a bioethics program and Hofstra for some random open house on literature. Literally these programs are pushing students into another useless degree that amounts to a whole big nothingburger.
