I really want to go to either COMP or Touro-CA. I was wondering if you guys could give me some insight on what I could do to make my application better. Or in other words, what are my chances?

CA resident, NonTraditional applicant, Married, one child, B.A. in Psychology. Minor in Child Development.

CUM GPA 3.0
Science GPA 3.8

MCAT: not taken yet.

Hospital Volunteer 1 year, Hospital Leadership team, 3 mos.
Research/clinical an UC Irvine on Schizophrenia and Bipolar Disorder-1 year
Research at CSUF on genetic and behavioral differences between mono and dyzygotic twins -6 mos
Research at CSUF on non-verbal behavior-6 mos.

bunch of other stuff I dont want to bore you with.

Other ECs, sports, photography, surfing, etc...

Big thing right now is your MCAT.

it will all depend on the mcat. if it is avg or above for the schools your applying to i would say your golden. how are the practice tests (esp the aamc tests) going?
