So my exam in Aug 20th WEDNESDAY which is 4 days from today and... I just took a practice exam and my scores are ridiculously low.

C 14
OC 12
PAT 19
RC 17
QR 20

WHAT THE EFF!!! I mean YIPPY for (PAT, RC, and QR) but... my sciences suck!!! sigh........

what do you guys think? will the 4 more days of studying really help me bring these ****** scores up??

nvm.. i think my scores should be higher...
I'm looking through every question and Kaplan has made couple MISTAKES, marked a question I got right wrong, or made WRONG calculations

but still my scores are low.

I heard that Kaplan is generally harder than the actual DAT.
Also, I heard that QR is supposed to be the hardest section on DAT but u got the highest on it.

Which Kaplan? How long have you studied?

I used the Kaplan blue book to study and took a practice exam they provided to take before test day. I have been studying all summer but wasn't diligent about it like you guys. I know that you're supposed to be studying 6+ hours EVERYDAY. But studying alone makes it harder to stay focused.

I went over the answers and I made SEVERAL or maybe too many silly mistakes. so i just pray and hope I WON'T on the real thing. KAPLAN SUCKS!!! worthless online explanations and ERRORS in their answer key.

sigh if only we had a collection of all the exam Q's to study then we'd ACCEEE IT!!!

I hope that's true.. I just did the Kaplan Final and I rocked it. I'm so scared. talk about dramatic 🙁

it's funny, ochem is the subject i feel least confident about and I'm hititng 100% on Kaplan.. but destroyer I am lucky to get 3/5 right

Yeah, your scores SHOULD be higher... but they aren't. This is why you should take practice exams, so you get into the mindset of exam taking. You know the information already, don't get a question wrong just because you couldn't add 2+2. That's a horrible way to miss a question. Oh and your practice scores aren't too bad. Most people tend to do better on the real exam as opposed to their practice exams.

I was in panic mode right after I saw the exam... I just know there's there still no "relax" time for before even before the test day.

this is when I wish I was a bio major and actually TRIED to understand the difficult concepts in OC, gosh.... i knew that i was going to regret it SOMEDAY.

if possible, reschedule the test, I just took the real dat today I got lower scores in most sections compared to practice test except for ochem. However, don't give up, try to studty as much as you can, I regreted that I didn't study anything in June, just focus on it in the last 6 weeks, I believe more study time = better scores, just my opinion though

I am feeling you. I think Kaplan can really trip you up with their questions. So you never know.
Drink a few cups of coffee and take another. Update us.

Practice test scores mean nothing. The purpose of the practice test is two-fold: To get used to taking the DAT and to learn material you previous didn't know and or were weak in. Spend a good amount of time, maybe even a day to go through your entire test, if you have the time to do so still.
