Sorry for the dramatic title but I seriously need help. I want to apply to postbacc programs but am unsure if I have waited to late to apply for the next starting classes.

Please give any advice

What programs do you think I have a good shot at with my stats.

CGPA 3.4
Science 3.6 (only one goes towards prereqs)
No mcat

Taken pre cal and stats

Thanks!

Depending on your other EC, etc., you should check out Columbia's post bac program....

You have indeed waited too late to apply to the '09-'10 classes, but '10-'11 applications will be welcome starting in October.

thanks for the responses🙂

This is on the Bryn Mawr website:

Admissions updates as of March 6, 2009

For those candidates who have not applied yet:

Although our application deadline is "February 1 or until all seats are filled," we are still accepting applications. If you want to be considered for the Class of 2009-2010 you must send us your completed application as soon as possible.

True, but the OP would have to have a better GPA and some truly extraordinary ECs to get in this late in the game.

you have until July 15 for G-town's fall post bacc

can you tell me a little bit about Georgetown's Post Bac... I just got in, and I would like to know if it is a respected program and what my chances will be of getting into med school afterwards...
Thanks!!

It's a respected program, though I did not attend it. I have heard of persons being placed in top med schools from it...i.e. JH. But I have also heard that there are some weaknesses, such as poor facilities. However, I cannot verify.

I would suggest looking in the Health Careers Program at Harvard Extension School. The acceptance rate is very high and placement is quite strong. The program tends to weed out persons who wont fit into medical school. It's also very affordable. I believe admission for the program is rolling, but someone can correct me if I am mistaken.
