I have been working for this company for about 5 months right now and I'm honestly getting tired of working here. It is really stressful because I need to complete a certain goal for the month, if I do not accomplish the goals I will be terminated. So far I have not been doing so hot at the job right now and my motivation to work here is getting lower and lower each day I arrive at work.

No, this is not affecting me and my schooling I am doing just fine. The pay is pretty good also. Other than that the job is completely stressful, I am not motivated to work here anymore, the people are all depressed its honestly making me go crazy!

Should I just stop acting like a p**** and act like a man and continue this job? Or quit and start looking for another job? My biggest worry is, will adcoms think quitting this job be a red flag? The reason I say that is because this is my 2nd job in the last 2 years. Reason why I quit my other job was because this one paid more.

Anyways any advice is helpful.

I have wrapped up time in certain jobs I didn't like without causing any drama at all. My advice is to get out as tactfully as possible. Try not to earn red flags (e.g., getting fired) and no AdComm will care. I wouldn't make it a point to bring up this particular experience in medical school application essays or in an interview situation, but I don't see how this could be a red flag. It doesn't have to be one of the 'significant experiences' that you list on AMCAS, either. And, by the way, I wouldn't ask your boss for a letter of recommendation.

A word to the wise, though, be careful with comments like this one: 'Should I just stop acting like a p**** and act like a man and continue this job?' Maybe this isn't over the top, but it struck me as being a little sexist although that probably wasn't your intention.

Good luck to you.

Thanks for the advice, sorry if that comment struck to you as being a little sexist and by no means was it my intention to make it sexist at all. My apologies.

I think the reason why I thought that it might bring up some 'red flags' was because you have to put down your work history, correct?

I don't think you're obligated to put down every place at which you've worked....
