I am new here,my name is amer ,and I'm 4th medical student in syria,
I am now prepare to usmle step1, I am international student not american , what I waan ask about that , I heard from that the surgery in US is only for american student , I like surgery , and if this ture this will fall me in depression, can one answer me please>thanx>

no surgery is not only for americans, but an american citizen sure do have an advantage, dont give up your hopes of becoming a surgeon because you are not american, good luck
