Hi i'm interested in interning with an ophthalmologist or optometrist for the summer or for longer. I need some experience in the field, please reply with any information. I'm attending Florida Memorial University in Miami Florida.

Try Bascom Palmer Eye Institute. Talk to the volunteer director Alicia Muniz. She is out of town though and will be back on May 20. You will need a recent PPD test. I already submitted my forms and will start shadowing when she comes back.
