Hi! I really need some advice. Ive been studying the entire summer for the DATs. I feel like I know what is required for me to know. I have done the Kaplan blue book, the online stuff, and the destroyer. BUT when I take practice exams I dont do good.

Bio-21
g-chem- 18
o-chem- 14 (but i always do mush better, at least a 18)
PAT- 18
RC- 17
QR- 18

When i go over my mistakes, I know them all but I have no idea what got into me to pick such a wrong answer. I am suppose to take my test in 5 days. I dont know if I should reschedule it or just take it. Please give me your advice.

Word on SDN is that sciences on real DAT are easier than sciences on practice tests (Kaplan, Topscore). Don't worry too much. I would practice more PAT if i was in your position. Try "Crack DAT PAT"

which kaplan?
im asking since kap2 or midterm was extremely difficult.
if that is the case, i would not worry about it.
if it was the kap final, then you might need more time.
I think kap final was bit easier than midterm or other kap exams.
I am not sure but i think i got 22TS on Kap final and got 24TS on the real thing.

I got a 19 on bio, 18 on g-chem and 18 on ochem for the midterm and I took that test as my first practice exam. The problem is, every question I miss, I actually know the answer when I sit in a normal setting but during the test my brain just picks the most incorrect answer.

true dat.

i took my DAT today, and honestly, i thought some of the questions were ridiculously easy. i consistently scored 17's and 18's on Kaplan tests for Ochem, then today i somehow managed a 26 on my ochem.

as long as you review your mistakes and wrong answers, you should be solid.
