  1. Pre-Dental
Hello Everyone,

I am going into my sophmore year of college. By the end of this fall I will have completed all of the pre-reqs for D-school. However, I completed 36 credits my senior year of high school. So technically I am a junior this year. Am I going to need to apply the summer of 2013 just so all of my credits can be used? I am sitting at aabout a 3.5 overall gpa. I worked in a research lab all of last year and I have about 30 hours of shadowing.
When should I take the DAT and how early should I start studying?

Appreciate any insight
Thanks in advance

Normally you will take the DAT during the Spring semester of your "junior" year. As in if you are graduating college in may of 2014, you would need to take the DAT during the Spring/early summer of 2013. Your application will need to be sent out in June/July of 2013. This is the plan to start dental school immediately upon graduation from undergrad.
