I need some advice

I am being harassed by the security at my dental school. a while back a security person gave me **** about not having my ID while i was trying to get into the Sim Clinic on campus. It is pretty lacked so i hardly ever have it. anyway he made a huge deal out of this when all he had to do was run my name. Now Going on over a year, this person will pull me out of a crowd and F with me asking for my ID. I am sick of it. I was on the way to an exam stressing and this man makes me late. singling me out of a crown of over 100 people. I want it to stop. But i don't want to catch anymore **** about it. I am afraid if go to the dean I will some how get screwed over like the school or the police will make the school enforce disciplinary action for the first time when the situation got out of hand. what should i do?

carry your ID with you?!?

classmate of mine had similar issue. he actually started going up to the cop, as he routinely walks around school, and started small talk with him. it no longer happensl.

my problem isn't carrying my ID, it's that i'm the only one that gets stopped. I do carry it, however being stopped by a person who knows your a student isn't security it is harassment.

Send a memo/email to the head of secuirty at your school. Report what you have told us here. CC the dean of the dental school, your adviser, and your lawyer.

Do that and your campus cop with an ego problem will go away.
