I have Western University, AZCOM, and KCUMB on my interest list.. I am very interested in doing plastic and reconstructive surgery in the future... which do you think will help me land the best residency?,, I should add that I would prefer to stay in Cali during the residency...

When you get to school, you will make your own way. For residency, your views may or may not changed, based on where you will be able to get a residency, and where the best programs are. And you are likely to do an internship/rotating year first if you go into plastics, so you will have to move around some after med school anyway.

Western's whole 4th year is elective rotations, if I'm not mistaken. This could be something to consider.

Go to the school with most elective time

Western has matched PRS in the past.

Go to the school that accepts you. It's good planning to debate between schools at this point in the game (don't get me wrong) ... but it doesn't truly do you much good to have this internal argument until you have acceptances from these three schools in your hand. Just wait for the acceptances, then make your decision. 👍
