I'm a senior and was enrolling in classes for autumn quarter today when I realized I could not enroll in biochemistry I, which is only offered in fall.
It turns out I did not meet the prerequisites. On my course catalogue there are two biochemistry I classes (Chem 181 vs Chemeng 181). Exact same descriptions but one of them says pre-reqs are hard coded while the other does not.
I am applying this cycle and if I get in that means I will not be able to finish my prereqs in time if I am not able to take biochem this fall. I'm begging my school to let me take the class, but if that does not work, should I just apply to every dental school that does not require biochem?
God I'm screwed...
By the way, I am missing 2 of the prereqs. Last quarter of ochem and 1 quarter of physical chemistry (which I was not planning on taking since most dental schools dont require it).
If anyone has ideas, please let me know.
