Hi guys...
Long story short, I needed to take biochemistry as a prerequisite. I am currently taking an online course from OSU (Oregon State University) and the final is this Wednesday. I was JUST told by a classmate that they're quarter hours and not semester hours...Yes...you are thinking 'what a dumba$$'. I don't blame you, I am really upset at myself for not digging into it.
I wanted to save money in all areas. Commute fees, per credit tuition, time. The cheapest was this and a friend of mine had taken already and I told him I only needed 3 credits as a prereq (he's not a pre-health student).
Now...the easy way is take the 2nd half...but then I'd spend ANOTHER $1,400 when I could've just taken one at MY state university which was a 40 min drive + tolls one way and would've been wayyy cheaper than an extra $1,400!
What I am asking is...has anyone been in this position? Chances are I cannot get my money back from OSU even though all lectures are available for free on Youtube and 4 quarter hours equals 2.68 semester hours...and shy of .32 semester hours now...
