I didn't do well on step 1 at all (195/80) - I was actually really surprised since my average practice scores were significantly higher, like 215ish (not amazing, but still better than 195!!) Moving forward, how can I avoid making the same mistake on step 2? I know a lot of my classmates were annotating step 1 books during the year, studying, reviewing - I never did any of that, waited until the end of the year to begin studying for the few weeks and given the fact that I pretty much passed all of second year (without honors) I think I really set myself for a poor score without really knowing it.

How does one make sure that they are "studying" for step 2 during the year and making sure they are getting all of the key points during clerkships when there are no lectures? Has anyone been in my shoes and turned it around and done well on step 2? Any advice on what to do? I feel like I am walking into 3rd year demoralized and lost - I wish I had a plan of action of what to do and what not to do so that I can at least do somewhat well. Please help😳 I really appreciate it
