My mind just can't comprehend this section. I end up losing my thought process with all the lines, my strategy is just to logically guess on answer choices and hopefully get half of them right on the test. I've watched all the PAT booster videos but it's just tough for me. I can never visualize the shapes or wrap my mind around it. How do you guys do this section? Do you just look at one detail of the image?

Sorry but that's a terrible strategy. Try to take a look at one line at a time and match them with different elevation levels of different components. It's not a hard section, but you have to practice. And don't look at the answer when you get it wrong. Keep trying to figure it out until you derive the answer yourself.

Thanks and I was joking about that strategy out of frustration. Today I tried just matching the top to front sections, and front to end sections. And lining up the lines (where there has to be a change of heigh/slope) and it's been working for bootcamp generators at least. I think just getting used to aligning the images and getting quicker at that will help. However, I did notice on practice exams as well as PATbooster practice exams the questions are more sophisticated than the BC generators, so I hope the BC TFE generator skills I develop translate over.

Try it and see if it works. It might take some practice to get better though.
