I think CRACK DAT PAT is too easy

compared to Acheiver and Topscore.

on CDP, i always score 21 or higher on all 10 tests. but on topscore and acheiver - its a little more tough and i score 17-19 😡


Is getting 20+ on CDP a good sign that the real DAT is the same level of difficulty ?

I, too, score much higher on CDP. I scored a 19 on the free ADA PAT section. I scored a 22 on TopScore 1 PAT test. But my average for CDP is 23-25. But from every DAT breakdown I read on here, they state that CDP is on par, if not harder, than the real PAT. So, I wouldn't worry so much if you're getting a 20+ on CDP. That's actually very good. You are good to go in my opinion. Just make sure you know what you missed on your practices, and why you missed it.

If you score 20+ on CDP, i would say you are good to go. Focus on other sections. The real DAT is about CDP level.

I asked about it once on SDN, and I've been told the real DAT PAT section isn't very clear either... not as clear as CDP. CDP is super clear.

they better make it clear like CDP, are they trying to challenge us by not making it clear or are they just lazy about it

I got the 10 test version and scored 21-25 on the tests. On the real DAT, I got a 22, so I would recommend CDP. I would say it's fairly accurate but I found the pattern folding and keyholes of CDP to be slightly easier. CDP is great for holepunch and angle prep!

Unfortunately, yes. It's not that bad though. The only section that's a little off is the holepunching. Sometimes, it's unclear where the hole punch is (which 1/16th of the paper). It's not impossible though. The cube figures are huge and centered on the actual exam.

It wasnt nearly as clear as CDP in my opinion. The hole punches were way smaller so it made it a little more difficult to figure out where they were positioned at. I thought CDP was great. I was averaging 23-25s on CDP (I only did 6 or 7 of the tests) and I got a 25 on the real thing. Just use those tests to master some of the techniques that people have put on here and you will be set.

My CDP 10 test avg was a 21.1
The range was 18-24.

My actual PAT was a 24 🙂

I didnt score as High as I expected from my results from Crack PAT. So, I too think it is easier.... Its just such a difficult section to prepare for in general.

My practice scores were between 21ish and 26 on Crack DAT PAT.... I ended up with a 21.

I felt like I had gotten a 23 or so when I finished. Must have been a few questions that were tricky/more difficult than I thought.

Even if it is SLIGHTLY easier it is still BY FAR the best PAT practice you can get. For me I felt like I was doing another Crack DAT PAT test with the exception of less than a handful of questions.👍
