I was complete at all schools very early and have high stats many of the “top tier” schools I was interested in have already sent II’s to people complete later than me. Does this mean they looked over my file and decided against interviewing me (at least for now?)
I say calm down as it's early. Not all schools screen files the exact same way. Did you hear from any schools where you networked before applying?

Patience is a virtue, the need for instant gratification is not.

Schools stratify the apps as they come in and don't send out secondaries or IIs merely in chronological order.

Secondaries are often a tax on the hopelessly naïve, if not pathologically optimistic.

Hi! I was hoping to have heard more by now since we’re a bit into August, but it definitely is still early. Sorry, what do you mean by schools I “networked” at? I don’t know anyone at any of the schools or anything like that
Schools have to wade through some 5000-10000+ apps. And it's not even Labor Day yet, so people are still taking vacation.

Give them time.

For some of us, school has started or is about to start. Some of us haven't had a first committee meeting or oriented any student or alumni members.

Networking with schools is important to know their typical timelines such as when secondaries are first sent out, interview invitations, and offers. Also other current students can affirm when they heard from schools when they applied.
