This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
I'm trying to figure out the cross section of people who post on SDN. I'm getting a sense (from my limited usage of the site) that these are not the highest quality folks. Lots of ignorant replies, arrogance, personal attacks etc...
anyone have similar experiences and if so, what is this indicative of?

...being an internet message board

...being an internet message board
you think this is an accurate cross section of actual doctors and residents just acting out under the anonymity of an internet board? or a smaller slice of the more immature ones?

"The people on this forum seem really stupid. What do you all, the people on this forum, think of that?"

OK that is funny. Granted, this is not the place to ask that question if that's how I feel. 🙂

I was always under the impression that the average SDN user has higher stats than the average pre-med. As for quality of character...
Quality of character, yes that's what i meant lol. i'm sure their basic science grades are great.

Strong work, make post about arrogance, and then deletes it in fear.

Deleted it because of liquidsodium's reply. I'm not afraid of your comment, I could care less. Just annoyed, because it confirms what i see.

I have mostly seen these situations from the people who ask questions, then get honest replies that they don't like.
They then they proceed to get defensive and start attacking or giving attitude to the people who are just trying to help.
At least from my experience, and from the posts I've read, the people who share their knowledge and give advice usually do so without the attitude or personal attacks.

Then you should be pleased, not annoyed.
