Hahaha...awesome photo.

Take thermals to wear under everything - you will especially appreciate that when you have to dress up and business clothes aren't very warm. Cuddleduds is a good company.

The big issue in Chicago is that it is windy - so whatever you bring needs to be good at keeping the wind out or you'll freeze. It also snows a lot, so appropriate shoes and stuff for your car (if you're taking one). Car stuff includes lock de-icer, ice scraper, shovel (can be mini to keep in your car), and whatever else you want but those are most important (I grew up in the Midwest and used all of those many times!).

Those little hand warmers you can get at sports stores will also help if you are prone to feeling extra cold. They make toe warmers too.

Overall you'll be fine...you'll spend most of the winter inside where it's warm! Lots of coffee and hot chocolate?
