Hi - I'm starting an ICU Sub-I next month and am wondering if anyone has advice on resources, how to do well, etc. Specifically: books? pearls? presentations? Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

THE ICU BOOK! It's all you need to do well

Agree with above post about The ICU Book by Marino. If your school has access to the New England Journal of Medicine online, you might want to look at their "clinical procedure videos" (I think they have ones for central lines and arterial lines), and read their critical care review articles on ARDS, early goal directed treatment of sepsis, etc.

hey guys - thanks so much for the helpful hints. that site is awesome. y'all rock! 🙂
