ICU rotation

I'm starting my medical ICU rotation next week, and I don't think we have a required text. Do you have any reading suggestions (hardcopy or online)? I'm feeling like I need to brush up on a lot (especially things like vent management).

Good podcasts on ICU topics- I know it says surgical ICU, but most of the topics apply in a medical ICU also.

I bought "Critical Care Medicine" by Wheeling and Marini. Seems like a good book. Looks to be shorter (and was cheaper) than Marino's.

It's got sections on how to write ICU notes, what to check on, using the ventilator, parenteral nutrition... And it's small enough to fit in a white coat.
