Hi everyone,

Just wondering if anyone on this board has experience working with metrics for antibiotic stewardship. If so, which metrics do you use? Do you end up having to manually extract your data, or do you use reports from your EHR?

I'm specifically working on days of therapy (DOT) right now, but would love to hear about experiences with any of the metrics that anyone may have. I'm guessing most EHRs don't have a lot of functionality right now for determining such metrics, but it's still something I'm looking into. Thanks!

Glad you think so much of me! Our excellent informatics people do it for us from pharmacy dispensing records. I just enjoy the very nice graphs.
