Just out of curiosity, does anyone have any recommendations for an ID Tag for the Cardiology III?

I got it as a gift and it wasn't engraved, so I'm looking for an alternative for identification. I have this one for my master classic II, but didn't know if it would fit the Cardiology III b/c of the different tubing.

I just got a clasp spring thing and a dog tag and hooked it around. Only caveat is you need to make sure it hangs down (instead of over) when you have it in the listening position, else it rubs against the tubing and very noticeably interferes with sound.

Here's what it looks like:

Only thing I'm unsure of is how tempted my patients will be to play with the dangly bit. Not very, I'd imagine, if they're properly restrained.

I have one dog tag clasp over each earpiece connected by a third clasp. There's a dog tag engraved with my name on the third clasp. It's not enough to act as a theft deterrent but it works great for identification and doesn't interfere with anything.

I wanted to engrave mine, but I heard that it would void the warranty 😕. That's a good idea about the dog tag. I was going take electrical tape (a few pretty colors) and make a small .5 inch stripe pattern that would be easily recognized.

We got at least a few free the first couple weeks of vet school. generally plastic ones.
