I'm part of student organization that sends supplies to impoverished countries like Ghana, Liberia, Haita, etc. Something new we tried this year was familiarizing the general body with the different types of medical instruments they might use were they to travel to those countries on a service trip, like a pulse-ox, sutures, various catheters, syringes (and how to take a patients blood), how to take blood pressure, heart rate, etc. That sort of stuff. We work with a warehouse that ships the supplies to different countries, so we were able to use some of the equipment there for the workshop we set up. For the up-coming year, we were brainstorming ideas on what other practical types of workshops we could hold, so I thought it would be beneficial to ask here if anyone had suggestions.

^I saw one of their workshops recently and it was pretty interesting so we've reached out to them. Does anyone have any ideas for workshops like that; practical, hands on demonstrations?
