If bad clinical exp(3-4year) how can we make up for this later to excel as a physician?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Are you asking about the future? Or something that already happened?

3/4yr aren't what make you a doctor.....your residency is what really makes you a doctor...just work hard and learn what you can

I'm asking about the future as I am getting ready for medical school this coming September. The school seems to not have their rotations all that put together, so I am a bit nervous.

It's fine to be a bit nervous but don't come into clinicals thinking you'll do badly - that's just setting yourself up for failure. Come in ready to learn and grow (relax you got some time - work hard MSI-II). It's your first taste as a 'doctor' but like @sb247 said it's not until you reach residency that you'll actually be fully training and perfecting your physician skills.

I'm guessing your going to a carribean school then? Don't go is the simple answer.

Which school?

Guessing it's ACOM (alabama com)

You're not even in med school yet and already assuming your 3/4 years will be bad?

I want to prepare for the worst and hope for the best. I want to make sure I'll be ok if the worst happens. Based on my research and communication with older students, I came to the conclusion that not everyone will have their optimal setting for their 3-4 year at the school.

AZCOM doesn't have bad clinical rotations. I don't know where you heard that from, I'm close friends with a couple of 3rd and 4th year students and they all say their experience is good.
