...is it ok if I add another (individual) letter of recommendation to my application? I've been doing research and I think the professor I research under could write me a decent letter. If so, would I add this letter through AMCAS? Or, could this letter be sent from my professor to my schools and have it added to my file that way? (I feel like doing this through AMCAS is more official). Thank you!

I don't know much, but im fairly sure that LOR's are only accepted through the amcas application.

Second poppie... but what's the worst that happens if you try? They aren't going to get pissy and throw your app out. The worst that happens is they ignore it. The best that happens is the guy says something insightful and interesting about you, and tehy like it.
