What about location in terms of "home?" Lots of people want to stay near there which biases their decision.
I think predominant number of people still in the process of visiting/ interviewing at schools so not many can really say what are their favorites.
I think this is a pointless question as money IS a factor. If money wasn't a factor i would just go on a life-long cruise around the world...
honestly, i feel that if money was not an issue many people would love to go to UOP. Get out a year early, great education, and San Fran! Yet in reality, it is one of the most expensive dental schools in the country, sooooo.....
lol. Well it would absolutely be the best choice. From what i know of UoP as of now is that it has great facilities, is in a great location, has great faculty, and overall really good things. The additional incentive of being able to get out a year early is an absolute catch. Therefore it would make sense that after considering the above, providing that cost was the same for all schools, MOST would want to go to UoP. However, as of now, UoP is still one of the most expensive dental schools in the country, despite taking into consideration the additinoal year of potential income...
From my understanding UOP cuts out all the fat in the curriculum and focuses on strictly dental curriculum. At some schools they go into so much detail about things that could never possibly remember, nor does it pertain to the boards- so it really is kind of pointless. UOP cant be that bad since they still have a high passing rate of the boards...and 25% of the 140 student class specialize. That is like 35 people!!!
