Don't be nice and say "Sure, no problem."
Tell them to go to an especially hot part of the netherworld.
Because more than likely what will happen is that despite telling you that they're making the change as you speak to them on the phone, some incompetent idiot won't actually make the change to the test date.
When you show up on the new (earlier) test date to take the thing they'll look at you with a blank stare. Then they'll tell you you can't take it because you haven't been scheduled for the day you're there. Nevermind that you scheduled a residency interview on the originally scheduled date. Nevermind that there are no more test dates available till after your school's deadline to take it.
You, my friend, are screwed. As I found out this AM.
There's nothing like the process of medical education to make you understand why Islamic terrorists strap bombs to themselves and go blow things up.
