Book to prepare for the NBDE Part I, which one would you choose and why?.
I have the Decks (latest edition) and as stand alone material, they are not good enough.
Anyone else?

hey other than decks u can use first aid for nbde part 1.
some ppl say u can use mosbys.but i did not study from that,so am not sure.
do released exam questions and if u have time kaplan lecture notes.
hope this helps 🙂

I tried first aid for part1 but i didn't like bio, physio, path in that..I got kaplan Lecture notes and to anyone who asks me, I can say its really good. Gives you good understanding of subject and good base, but it takes time to study. If u can read 8-9 hrs a day, u can do it in 3 months. I gave part1 two months back(score of 87)
The exam tests your comprehensive understanding of all subjects, so you should know "why something happens that way".
But Kaplan is not good for DA.

Very interesting....i'm gonna sell my DD soon. Where do you get this Lecture Notes? They are NOT on Amazon!!.
I'm not sure if it's Kaplan Lecture Notes for the USMLE or KN for the NBDE.
Thanks for your advice.
