Took the DAT in June, and just retook it today October). Here are the scores:

AA--------19-----------20------
PAT-------22-----------20------

I'm not sure if my scores show enough improvement (though I know "enough" is subjective). I'm really disappointed my PAT and QR went down, and I can't explain it since I studied for both. I have a 3.3 sci GPA, 3.6 overall. Applied to 19 schools, they're all been waiting on these DAT scores except VA (home state, gave me an interview).

i think it's a huge improvement. you should really be proud of yourself. with your gpa, i see no problem at all getting at least 3 interviews and hopefully at least one acceptance letter 🙂. job well done 👍

Thanks to both of you for the kind words. I hope what you all are saying comes true but I find my stats at or below average. I guess only time will tell! Glass half empty I guess.

Great job, theres no need to be ashamed of that retake, you did a lot better on the sciences and the reading which, to many schools, are the most important sections.

To what do you attribute the improvement to? New study materials?

I owe it all to DAT Destroyer AND the fact that having taken it once, there was less pressure and the environment was more familiar.

After reading all the threads on here I'm thinking that I may be applying too late to get in this cycle. 🙁
