Hey fellow natives and everyone else who knows about the IHS scholarships!!! My mom was telling me the other day about the whole IHS shin dig and benefits, of course I just couldn't believe it.
For those of you who are aware of the scholarship (have taken part in the program or plan to), what do you guys think about the service after graduating medical school?
--what are the benifits?
--what are the cons?
--did you have to move somewhere you didn't want to to complete service?
--what is the salary of residents?
--were your experiences (both personal and clinical) positive at the tribal centers during your service?
