I generally say it's best to go with the cheapest school but in your case it seems like you shouldn't, especially if you're dead set on going to medical school. I think you should choose the path of least resistance when it comes to your GPA. There will probably also be scholarships you can apply to down the road at UIC, so although your first year might be more expensive, the others might not be. Obviously I'm just assuming this based on my experiences at the colleges I applied to myself.
