Hi all,
I just wanted to get some opinions on whether or not it would be beneficial to do an away rotation (elective or sub-i) if one were to apply for IM at UW in Seattle. I'm interested in the program, but am not a competitive applicant for the program by any means due to my Step 1 score. Will doing an away there help me at all, or is it not even worth applying? Normally, I would shy away from such a highly-ranked program, but I believe they have a large class size, and I am very competitive in terms of publications, extra-curriculars, awards, and service.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
