ok....! so this might be obvious to some of you but I dont know how the DAT scoring system works. from a score of 1-30, could you say if you answer 50% of lets say...PAT...you get a 15 on it?...or what? does the percentile factor have something to do with it?.... could someone please explain this to me? 😳
thanks🙂

I'm sure there is a website that can give you a decent idea of what you would get if you got x questions right on a particular section. I don't know of one right now though. That being said, your score also depends on the performance of all others taking the test, sort of like a curve (i.e. everyone does good, it's harder to get a high score, and vice versa)

Don't quote me on this, but from what I've seen, to obtain about a 20, I think you have to get mid to high 80s in terms of percentage of questions right on a particular section

I don't think the percentile reveals anything about your standard score. The way I understand it is that the percentile simply indicates how you've done compared to other people, who have taken the same test last year. I might be wrong though.

actually the Barrons DAT book has a chart that shows # correct and corresponding score, also the ADA has one but it does not line up evenly, PM if you want it.

On the official ADA site, there is a practice DAT. It has a scoring sheet at the end so you can check what scores correspond to how many answers you get correct.
