Finally! This is my third time taking this blasted test and finally my score went up. First time I took it i had an AA18, second AA17, and now my third time taking are as follows:

RC-20
Bio-19
Gchem-22
Ochem-20
PAT-18
and.....QR-16 (boo)

AA-19
TS-20

I am happy with my scores, but I am surprised about my QR. On every practice test I did I never scored lower than a 17, and I felt confident about a lot of my answers on the actual test. Oh well, the only thing that bums me out about it is that it might hurt me as far as cut-offs. My gpa is 3.73, and my science gps is 3.71. Hopefully this will be a better year for me considering last year I was waitlisted at THREE schools. Anyways, what do you guys think? Also I am worried b/c it is a little late in the cycle...hopefully that won't hurt me too much. thanks for all the help guys, SDN has been a blessing!

Good luck to everyone!:luck::luck:

Actually I wouldn't worry about the QR 16. The dental schools are recognizing that the QR scores are all much lower than usual. When I got my PAT 24, AA 21, TS 21 w/QR 16 I almost didn't send my scores to 2 of the Cal. schools which I know have a 17 minimum requirement on al DAT scores. But I sent them anyway and have since recieved secondary apps from both. I was told personally by head of admissions at UCSF that they send 2nd apps out solely based on 17 min. on all DAT and 2.8 GPAs (resident) or 3.0 GPA (non-res)- but I guess they see there was something wrong with QR this year. If the lesser schools try to reject all of the low QR's this year- they will find that all of the high QR (MOST are scores from earlier) will go to the better schools and they will be left without a decent applicant pool.
