I see a lot of posts regarding the dat destroyer. does anyonehave any insite into what its all about. I'm currently just relying on the kaplan material, but considering the financials, is the dat destroyer really worth it?

As of now im thinking of taking the dat's in late december. I know its kind of late but i started taking the my pre-med courses in january. I graduated from babson college in 2004 with a degree in business admin. and worked for a little over a year at a hedge fund, why i gave up the money, you'll just have to take my word for it. I just can say from my experience that there is nothing worse than being "**** on" verbally on a daily basis by someone 2-3 years older than you. And it doesnt get any better!

Hi,

I was skeptical as well, but I purchased it 3 weeks from my test date and it helped me immensely. I also suggest buying TopScore for additional practice.

it's good. It has over 100 practice questions for QR and each of the 3 sciences. Some of the questions are pretty tough, but they all have good explanations which has been very helpful to some people.

I never used it, but some friends have been using it and I looked through it a few times with them and it looks helpful. What it doesn't have that kaplan does is all the chapters of study material...it is just questions and explanations, which can be just as useful.

Yea welcome aboard. The Dat Destroyer is a great tool for aiding in your studying. Its great that you started with the Kaplan bc it gives a great background and foundation for your learning. The Destroyer though is really the cream filling. It has exactly what one needs if one studies properly. Just pound the destroyer like ice cream and you'll be fine. Best of luck to you!
