That here I sit the day before my exam, looking over a few more things (I'm going to stop around 5 pm), and I sit here feeling like my mind is a big pile of mush - this is a normal feeling, right? A friend of mine said to me - "you don't study this much so that you know everything - you can't - you won't - you study this much so that on the actual exam, even though you don't remember every little detail, your mind pushes you toward one answer - that's why so often people leave so unsure and then find out they do well"

- true? am i normal? 🙂

lol...

I haven't taken it yet (next week) - but I wouldn't see anything else being true other than what you said - even on practice q's and tests I take, there are TONS of times I will get an answer correct without knowing exactly why, but like you said, your mind pushes you there because of an association or something of the sort that your mind picks up on it - hang in there a few more hours....good luck tomorrow

Thanks man - best of luck to you as well -

People that already done, you guys have this feeling the day before?

Really the exam and studying is about being able to cross off answer choices and narrow down your options rather than knowing the right answer.

The day before i felt like stuff was pouring out of my head. The day itself was a complete blur to me and up until I had my score infront of me I had no idea how I did. It all worked out for me.

Yes you are. I'm taking it tomorrow too...unfortunately I can't stop at 5pm..lol..I'm going to cram bugs n drugs starting at 6pm est till about 9, then watch some house MD online and call it a night. I totally feel you, I feel like I forgot everything :-( Oh well, I stopped caring about the exam yesterday; just realized that all my OCD for the past two years has probably thrown me into stage 1 HTN. Best of luck...I plan on clicking through the questions with the same non-chalant attitude with which I did Uworld.

lubdubb, that's nuts - i was just about to post - "This is crazy, I feel like I've forgotten everything!!" -lol - we're normal and we're not insane - and hopefully we do well! 🙂
