Today's test was an absolute flop for me. What should I do SDNers?

PA 15 😡
QR 16
RC 19
BIO 19
CH 16
OC 18
TS 18

I've been doing around 21-23 on all my practice test for the PA, and then this is what I got!!! I don't know what happened...it was indeed a lot harder than anything I've seen before. The angles, boo. The whole punch, boo. But to see that much of a drop in my score is absolutely disappointing. My score dropped two points for CH and OC in comparision to Topscore...AHHH!! I just don't know what happened.

Anybody know what my chances are now? I have a BS in Computer Science w/ a 3.0 gpa, took my prerequisites for dental school with a 3.9 gpa. Thats pretty much all I have to work with. I applied to 10 dental school, of which I was hoping to stay in California. Unlikely now right? Please someone, tell me I'm ok. Or tell me that I suck!!

you gotta retake it, that's the brutal truth. sorry. yeah, your PAT is a bit low (I shoudl be talking, I only got a 16), but you really want that AA score to be 20+ (preferably 22, 23+, to make up for lowish PAT). good luck.

I don't think that you have to retake it. When did you apply? The only calli schools you might have a legitamate shot at our LLU and USC. The chances of you getting in to d-school are good if you applied to the right schools (schools with stats around yours). There are many schools which have DAT score averages in the 18s.

Call the schools and see what they think.

Thanks for the encouragement. But my half a day to recooperate made me realize I most likely need to retake it. I already applied and did a couple secondaries and the schools say they are pretty much waiting for my scores. At this moment the schools should be receiving my results. So even if I retake it, will they consider my application prior to my retake or hold off? Maybe I should call them.
