for those that took the IM shelf would you recommend spending the last two weeks going through all of the uworld IM questions (~1400) or going through case files for internal medicine in detail? Thanks any advice/suggestion would be greatly appreciated!

I would recommend doing the USMLE world questions

I agree with U-World. Case files is pretty weak and too verbose for preparation.

You don't have to do all the questions. Just do a wide variety from each section (e.g. cardio, pulm, heme, etc...).
Its not a simple shelf, it covers lots of material and the questions are long.

Are we all referring to the new COMAT shelves or the Allo ones? I have no idea where to begin studying for the osteo type questions. I took my psych shelf last month and they asked about the CRI in a kid with ADHD. I had no clue...

I was assuming the allo ones. I haven't taken the COMAT ones.

Seems like most DO schools have switched to the COMAT tests this year as the NBOME just made them available. I like that they are computer based, as I heard the allo versions are still paper based. It's just hard to find shelf specific study materials for the osteo type questions.
