Are there any schools that will accept you without an interview?

NYU does that... rarely

I was waitlisted at Creighton without an interview.

I'm guessing this acceptance w/out the interview is based on having a super high GPA and DAT score, right?

Ummm....I think interviews are important part of the application process. it really isnt that bad, I was scared when I had my first interview but you really have no reason to be. Its basically designed so that they can know what type of person you are. I think it would be very dumb on a dental schools part to accept someone without an interview. You might be the brightest person with the highest DAT score but lack social skills, which is important in a field such as dentistry because you need to know how to communicate with your patients. You may have patients that are scare of a dentist and you have to be the one to mitigate any feelings of distress that they are experiencing.

I think they now require interviews starting last app cycle.
